Return Policy: Mama’s Basement

At Mama’s Basement, every item is custom-printed to order. Because these products are manufactured specifically for you, our return policy differs from traditional retail stores.

1. Damaged or Defective Items

We offer a 14-day return policy specifically for items that arrive damaged or defective.

  • Timeframe: You must request a return within 14 days of receiving your item.
  • Condition: The item must be in its original packaging.
  • Process: To start a return, contact us at getmeoutofmamasbasement@gmail.com with photos of the defect. If accepted, we will provide instructions on where to send your package.

2. Custom-Made Exceptions (EU Law)

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, the standard 14-day "right of withdrawal" (cooling-off period) does not apply to goods made to the consumer’s specifications or which are clearly personalized.

Because every item in our store is custom-printed to order, we do not accept returns or exchanges for:

  • Incorrect size selection: Please consult the Size Guide on the product page before ordering.
  • Change of mind: We cannot restock custom-printed items for "buyer’s remorse."
  • Incorrect shipping address: Please double-check your details at checkout; we cannot be held responsible for orders shipped to an incorrectly provided address.

3. Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to double-check your order before it’s placed. We do not offer exchanges for different sizes or colors once an order has been printed.

4. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return (for damaged/defective goods), we will notify you of the approval status. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days.

Note: Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
